The 2009 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships
 
 
  About the Championships Go

The 2009 U. S. Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships is being held this weekend at the Mennen Arena in Morristown, N.J. Nearly 2,000 athletes and coaches from the Eastern section of the United States are participating. This makes the event the largest U. S. sectional championship in the history of synchronized skating!

Daily tickets to the event, which can be purchased at the Mennen box office during the competition, will cost $20 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and children 5-12. Children under 5 will be admitted free.

1/27/09 - The LOC is no longer excepting practice ice requests via email. Ice may still be purchased at the registration desk on a first come, first served bases during the event.

Unofficial practice ice is available throughout the competition. We especially have time slots available on Friday and Saturday. Mennen Arena has three ice surfaces. Two rinks will be used for practice. For more information, contact the Practice Ice Coordinator.

Pre-Ordered Items
Team managers or coaches should pick up their team's pre-ordered items at the registration desk.
Music must be provided to the music coordinator in advance of the event
The Chief Music Coordinator of the 2009 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championship is requesting that all participating teams forward him a copy of their competition program music as soon as possible. -Read
Team Banners
All team banners must be hung by the arena staff. To have your banner displayed, take it to the main office at the competition rink. Wall space in the arena is limited. It is possible that not all banners can be displayed. We strongly recommend that team managers submit them immediately after they first arrive at the venue.

The event will be held at the William G. Mennen Sports Arena. The venue is a 2,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Morris Township, New Jersey. It hosts various local concerts and sporting events.
An event map has been posted detailing the location of registration desks, locker rooms, practice and competition rinks, as well as other event activities.
