The 2009 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships will be hosted by the Skating Club of Morris. The event will be held Jan. 29-31, 2009 at the Mennen Arena in Morristown, N.J. Nearly 2,000 athletes and coaches from the Eastern section of the United States will be participating.

The synchronized skating sectional championships are held annually to crown the champions in six developmental and eight competition levels. The top placements in the competitive levels advance to the 2009 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in February 2009.
